Description
The Texas Speed & Performance 427 C.I.D. Resleeved Gen 4 Aluminum Short-Block combines a 4.125″ bore and 4.000″ stroke with a new Gen 4 aluminum LS block fitted with heavy-duty dry sleeves. Each short-block is machined and assembled in-house at Texas Speed & Performance and can be configured with multiple piston, crankshaft, and connecting rod options to match the intended engine combination.
The resleeved aluminum block provides the larger 4.125″ bore required for the 427 C.I.D. combination while creating a strong foundation for naturally aspirated, nitrous, supercharged, and turbocharged applications.

INSTALLATION NOTES
- Verify the selected 24X or 58X reluctor configuration is compatible with the vehicle’s engine management system.
- Verify piston configuration and final compression ratio with the selected cylinder heads, combustion chamber volume, head gasket thickness, and deck height.
- Consider the intended power level, fuel type, and power-adder combination when selecting rotating assembly components.
- The 4.000″ stroke is TSP’s preferred maximum stroke for high-horsepower power-adder applications.
- Proper engine break-in is required to establish ring seal and promote long-term engine life.
- Additional vehicle-specific components, tuning, and supporting hardware may be required for installation.
- All short-blocks ship via truck freight. Final freight pricing will be provided after the order is placed.
Note: Verify final engine configuration, compression ratio, reluctor compatibility, cylinder head compatibility, and supporting components before ordering. Component options, availability, and build times may vary.
