Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold LT1/L83/L86 – Red

The Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold combines a glass-reinforced nylon lower manifold with a carbon fiber upper shell for a lightweight, strong, and heat-resistant tunnel ram architecture. Modular velocity stacks allow the runner length to be configured for different engine combinations and desired power curves.

The manifold ships with the longer runner configuration, while optional velocity stacks provide additional runner lengths. Shorter runners support high-RPM drag applications, while longer runners improve mid-range torque. Different runner lengths can also be mixed to help smooth the torque curve.

The carbon fiber plenum uses high-temperature epoxy to improve strength-to-weight ratio and reduce heat soak to the fresh air charge. The polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the cylinder heads and houses ports and sensors hidden in the valley. This combination provides a 10 lb weight savings compared with competitive aluminum tunnel ram manifolds.
