PSI GM Vortec Engine PCM with Programming (Green/Blue) (242 P59)

The PSI GM Vortec Engine PCM with Programming is designed for 2003-2007 Gen 3 LS and Vortec drive-by-wire applications and is for use with PSI harnesses only. The P59 242 Blue/Green PCM is programmed according to the specifications of the engine and transmission setup.

PSI programs the PCM with the appropriate operating system for the engine and transmission combination and calibrates it for the selected displacement, mass air flow sensor use, injector style and flow rate, throttle body type, tire size, and gear ratio. The PCM is not locked, allowing the included base tune to be adjusted as needed for the specific application.

• Lowered Cooling Fan Temperatures – Fan #1 ON at 195°F and Fan #2 ON at 205°F
• MAF Sensor Calibration
• Fuel Injector Flow Rate
• MAP Sensor
• Throttle Body Used
• Alternator Settings – 2-Pin or 4-Pin
• Updates for Correct Tire Size and Gear Ratio

Programming & Tune Notes:

• Programmed to Operate as Closely to an OEM Tune as Possible Based on the Specific Application
• PCM Is Not Locked, Allowing the Included Base Tune to Be Adjusted
• Installed Tune Is a Base/Startup Tune Mirroring a Factory OEM Tune Based on the Options Selected in the Order
• VATS Is Removed
• VVT Is Bypassed if Applicable
• DOD Is Disabled if Applicable
• Restrictions Preventing Engine Operation When Installed in a Different Vehicle Are Removed

Important:

If the engine has a different camshaft, any performance modifications, or components that differ from the options selected on the tune request, issues may occur including no start, erratic idle, surging, check engine lights, limp mode, lack of shifting, no throttle response, poor power delivery, or other issues that may render the engine inoperable.

Any engine or transmission modifications require a custom tune to ensure proper operation and prevent serious damage. PSI Conversion cannot be held responsible for operation or performance issues when the engine or transmission has been modified or differs from the options selected when the tune was installed.
